A warm welcome to the West Lancashire Footpath Group
West Lancashire Footpath Group (WLFG) was founded in 1977 with the objectives of enjoying walks in the local area, defending the public footpaths in West Lancashire and extending the local footpath network.
To help ensure all footpaths in West Lancashire are walked regularly, walks are arranged twice monthly in the winter, and more frequently in the summer. Our daytime walks are 5 - 6 miles in length and range from easy to moderate in difficulty. If you would like to explore the countryside of West Lancashire and surrounding areas, meet new people and enjoy the beautiful scenery, while also improving your own physical and mental wellbeing, take a look at our Walks Programme or get in touch via our Contact Us form.
